About Pendennis Clinic
Pendennis Clinic was founded in July 2005, as an expansion of the successful private physiotherapy practice started by Penny White.
The clinic currently has three Chartered Physiotherapists:
Penny White qualified in 1976 at the Middlesex Hospital, London, and has more than 25 years' experience. Penny has worked in both the public and private sectors, and spent 9 years as joint physiotherapist at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
Gabriella McCloskey qualified in Hungary in 1990, and worked for 9 years in neuro-rehabilitation, and 4 years in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy.
Lisa Straughan qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School in London, in 2001. She gained general and specialist musculo-skeletal experience from a large south-west teaching hospital and went on to work with the armed forces. Lisa has a particular interest in sporting injuries, and back and neck complaints.
The clinic also has a Podiatrist, Sarah Walton; a Reflexologist and Homeopath, Andrew Murrin; Reflexologist Helen George; and a Massage Therapist, Hannah Phillips. Sessions in the Alexander Technique are available with qualified practitioner Christine English.
Pilates teaching is also available at the clinic, with a qualified instructor.
